2026 and the changes for Real Estate

Hello friends and colleagues,

I wanted to take a moment to share a brief update on potential changes coming to the real estate marketing world.

There has been growing discussion at the national level about the authenticity of real estate listings, including the possible requirement to disclose certain post-production techniques, such as sky replacements, object removal, or other digital alterations, used in marketing imagery. At this time, no specific rules or formal guidance have been issued for Texas, but we are actively monitoring it.

At TradeMarek Photography, we are fully aware of these conversations and are committed to working closely with our clients to ensure that all marketing materials align with any new standards as they are introduced. Our goal has always been to provide imagery that is both compelling and honest, while protecting our clients and maintaining trust with buyers.

For our real estate marketing clients in particular, we strive to stay as close to true-to-life representation as possible. Thoughtful composition, lighting, and professional capture are at the heart of our work, helping buyers feel confident and comfortable when they step into a property for the first time—because what they see online should reflect what they experience in person.

As this topic evolves, we’ll continue to stay informed and transparent, and we’re always happy to discuss best practices or answer questions about how imagery is created and presented.

Thank you for your continued trust and collaboration.

Warm regards,

Tim Marek
